Welcome to The Connection!
God has a friend like that…you. You are God’s best friend. You consume his thoughts. You put a smile on his face. God not only loves you; he likes you. His greatest desire is to have a special connection with you. The name of this new e-newsletter is no accident. We’re calling it The Connection for some very good reasons. It’s a reminder that God deeply desires a special connection with us. It’s a reminder that we need to connect, not only with God, but also with his church. This e-newsletter will show up in your inbox each week. Please take a few minutes to read each one carefully. Our Student Ministry is remodeling! Amelia Church of Christ Youth Group has now become Luminous Student Ministries! The new name as well as the modification of new elements in the growing Wednesday night Quest program has begun to generate some excitement among our youth. Come and see what’s going on. We invite you to experience Quest and become Luminous! Luminous Attractions:
Upcoming EventsChristian Women's Fellowship meets Monday, March 20. The meeting will be held at Wyvetta Morgan's home at 7:00 pm.
SOCK Day is this Saturday, March 18. Meet at church at 8:15 am. Return approximately 3:30 pm.

Recently, my family traveled to Louisville to visit some old
college friends. Unfortunately we normally
see these friends only once or twice a year.
Life just gets too busy sometimes (in case you haven’t noticed!). Our weekend trip was great. All our kids played together. I managed to keep my cool even though I was
in a house with four children that are all four years old and under. (WHEW!)
The whole trip was a wonderful getaway for us. As I was driving home after our visit, I was
thinking about how great it is to have friends that mean so much to us. You know the kind…those friends with whom you
share a special connection.
