Some Reminders
We had nearly 150 people in attendance on Sunday. There were a lot of first time guests with us. I am often told that our church is a very warm and friendly place to be. In order to keep that same inviting spirit, let’s remember a few things…
1. Save the best parking spaces for our guests. The best spaces are the ones closest to the building.
2. Save the best seats in the auditorium for our guests. The best seats are in the back two rows.
3. Don’t save seats. And if necessary, give up your seat for a guest and their family.
4. If you see a guest standing or sitting alone, go introduce yourself.
5. Offer to help them find a classroom, restroom, or anything else they may need.
6. Keep in mind that the little details make a big difference.
7. Above all, remember that the church isn’t about you. Be willing to sacrifice your comfort and convenience to accommodate our guests.
This is basic stuff, but we all still need to be reminded of these things.
Until The Nets Are Full,
Mike

Our new website is nearing completion. We’ll be taking a ton of pictures for the site in the coming weeks, so don’t be surprised if someone looks at you and says, “Smile!” Even as our new site is being finished, our temporary site is still being updated. Sermons are uploaded each week, there’s a link to our student ministry’s new temporary site, and my blog is updated often. Be sure to keep checking the current site and keep watching for the unveiling of our new, awesome, incredible, magnificent, splendid, marvelous website.
