Teens, don't miss the annual Student Super Bowl Bash at youth minister Brian Morrissey's house.
Jr/ Sr High Students are invited to attend the Sunday, Feb. 7 party at Brian and Cara's home in Amelia.
We are inviting all students and their parents to meet our Student Ministry candidate, Thayer Wallace. Thayer will be at the party that day to meet the students and interact with them. This will give our students and their parents a chance to introduce themselves to Thayer and get to know him a little better
The party starts at 4 p.m. and ends after the game. Included will be contests, prizes, and tons of fun.
Each student is asked to
bring a snack or a dessert to share and their favorite two-liter of
pop.
Pizza will be provided.
Contact Brian Morrissey for details and/or directions.

A devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the capital city of Port-au-Prince in Haiti Jan. 12. Haiti is the poorest nation in this hemisphere and is not at all equipped to deal with this devastation. No one yet knows how many people have been killed, injured, or displaced by this earthquake, but early estimates are staggering. We are going to step up and help in a very tangible way. Beginning immediately, ACC will be collecting four very specific food items: - Peanut butter
- Beans
- Rice
- Spam or Treet
We will be sending the food to the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission as soon as shipping lanes are reopened. Again, please note that we are only collecting these four basic items. The missionaries have told us that this is what they need. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, make your check payable to ACC and write "Haiti" in the memo line. We'll make sure every cent goes to NWHCM. You can visit the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission's website at www.nwhcm.org. There is a place to give online if you prefer. The need is urgent, and we will be shipping the items ASAP, so please bring your food or cash donation this Sunday. Let's step up and be Jesus to the people of Haiti. |
