Okay, guys and gals. If you have been coming to ACC for very long, you have probably heard the buzz about Small Groups. Well, signups start Easter Sunday for our first round of Small Groups.
Don't miss your chance to grow with God and grow with others. After all, that's the point of all of this.
We've got some awesome topics to kick things off, whether you want help with your marriage, your finances or your daily walk with Christ. Please find someone from our Small Groups team, as they'll be setup in the foyer to answer questions and get you plugged in.
A couple of things to keep in mind as we approach Easter Sunday, April 4. First, our guys have an incredible service planned for you. So don't miss it.
Beyond that, you need to know a few important details:
We will be having two worship services, at 9:00 and 11:00 am.
We won't be having Bible classes at 10:00 am.
And kids programming (except for the nursery) will only be offered at the later service.
If you are a regular and will be attending without young children, please plan to come at 9 am. Seating is limited, so your sacrifice to give up your normal worship schedule will open up a seat for someone in our community who has never met Jesus. What could be cooler than that on Easter Sunday?
Sunday, March 28th after the morning worship service we will be having
an indoor picnic and Easter egg hunt. Everyone is invited for this fun
day of fellowship.
Lunch will consist of hot dogs, chips, and cookies.
We need donations of wrapped candy for the Easter eggs. Please place in
the box located in the foyer.
The Amelia Church of Christ is collecting clothing in excellent condition for the impoverished
people in several different nations. We will be distributing the
clothes through the ministry of Master Provisions.
This year, the Amelia Church of Christ will pay 30 percent of each ACC student's full camp fee at nearby Woodland Lakes Christian Camp. The scholarship is only for
the first week of camp each student chooses to attend.
To be eligible, you must put
your name on the official scholarship list at church or you will not receive
the scholarship.
