The Amelia Church of Christ Christmas Eve service is a slow, reflective, and joyful celebration. This 45-minute candlelit service begins at 9:00 pm Thursday, Dec. 24, and will be complete with incredible worship and a story for the kids. Bring your whole family.

Please check out the ACC Giving Board in the church foyer. This is a great opportunity to share the blessings given to you with others in our community.

It's easy. Select a gift you are willing to purchase and sign your name and phone number beside it. Take the tag representing the gift. Wrap the gift, attach the tag and return it to church no later than Dec. 13.

ACC's annual congregational meeting is this Sunday, Nov. 22 immediately following the 11:00 am service. 

This is an important time to celebrate what God has done and is going to do in our church family. We'll have the chance to be reminded of our vision, show our support for the men God has called to leadership roles in our church, etc. If ACC is your church home, it's very important that you be there.

If you absolutely cannot make the meeting, absentee ballots for the leadership selection will be available. Contact us if you would like one. According to our bylaws, you must be at least 16 years of age and have been an active member of ACC for at least six months to vote.

We will not be holding a congregational dinner after this year's meeting.  With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, it is not the best time of year for such an event.

The duration of the meeting will not be extremely long, but it is an important time in our church.  Make plans to be there.

Start the process for figuring out where you are called to serve at the Amelia Church of Christ by filling out the Personal Ministry Inventory form online.

Dave Hubert, our new Minister of Involvement, has developed this simple form to begin helping every person from ACC determine where your gifts and your passion intersect. After many years in ministry, it is clear that Dave has a particular gift and passion for helping others move into serving roles in the church. Paper forms are also available in the church foyer on the desk. Fill out the form and leave it in the file holder or hand it to Dave.

As we learned during our recent Simple Church series, serving is the crucial third step in ACC's new Connecting, Growing, Serving vision. We are all called to serve in some capacity.

Pino Neglia is our missionary in Italy and Albania (Lecce Christian Mission).

He will be at ACC on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 pm. Pino is a fun, and very passionate guy who loves Jesus more than anything. If you’ve never heard him speak, you’re missing out.
