Listen up ladies! Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 20. Our church is hosting Charley Gerber, a nationally-known author, speaker, and counselor. He will be leading a session called “For Women Only: A Christ-Centered Self-Esteem.”

Our culture has done a lot to damage our perception of femininity and it has wreaked havoc on the self-esteem of countless women. Charley’s challenge is for you to see yourself through a different lens: the lens of Jesus. You’ll laugh a lot and you’ll learn a lot through Charley’s energetic presentation.

The session will go from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The cost is only $10.00 per person, and that includes lunch served up by some guys from our church. You can’t beat that with a stick!

Dave Ramsey is coming to Cincinnati for a live event on Thursday, September 13 at 6:30 pm (doors open at 5:00pm) at the Cintas Center at Xavier University. We've got discounted tickets available for you. You can take in the Ramsey experience for just $21 per ticket. That's 40% off the regular price.

Dave Ramsey's mission is simple. Help people out of their prison of debt. Empower them to build wealth. Help heal the divisions that money has caused in marriages. Teach people biblical principles on saving, spending, and giving. If you're ready for a Total Money Makeover, you just can't miss this event.

Join us for our annual church picnic on Sunday, August 19 at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp!

Here's the schedule:

• 1pm: co-ed softball game
• 2pm-5pm: pool open*
• 5pm: chow down

* please note that there will not be a lifeguard on duty

Please bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert to share with everyone, along with drinks. Plates, napkins, and utensils will be provided.

This is an awesome day to kick back and have some fun with our church family. Come on out and join us!

Beginning Sunday, August 19, our new Sunday morning schedule will be as follows:

The time change is necessary to encourage more of our members to attend our first service. It’s become clear that our current start time is just too early, so we’re taking a proactive approach to enhance the Sunday worship experience at ACC.

Would you consider making the switch to first service beginning on August 19? Both hour-long services will still be identical in style and content. We’re especially asking those who do not have small children to consider making the change. (We’re still offering our full complement of children’s programming during second service.) We have simply outgrown our space, so it is critical that we begin to fill our first service. For every person that attends our first service, we have another seat and another parking space available to our first-time guests that are coming to our second service.

When we launched our second service, we knew that it would be a work in progress. We launched it in the summertime so that we could work out the details to be ready to head full force into the fall season when our chances for reaching new people goes up dramatically. Thanks for your patience as we continue to pursue God’s plans and dreams for our church family!
