Join us for our annual church picnic on Sunday, August 19 at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp!

Here's the schedule:

• 1pm: co-ed softball game
• 2pm-5pm: pool open*
• 5pm: chow down

* please note that there will not be a lifeguard on duty

Please bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert to share with everyone, along with drinks. Plates, napkins, and utensils will be provided.

Beginning Sunday, August 19, our new Sunday morning schedule will be as follows:

The time change is necessary to encourage more of our members to attend our first service. It’s become clear that our current start time is just too early, so we’re taking a proactive approach to enhance the Sunday worship experience at ACC.

Would you consider making the switch to first service beginning on August 19? Both hour-long services will still be identical in style and content. We’re especially asking those who do not have small children to consider making the change. (We’re still offering our full complement of children’s programming during second service.) We have simply outgrown our space, so it is critical that we begin to fill our first service. For every person that attends our first service, we have another seat and another parking space available to our first-time guests that are coming to our second service.

When we launched our second service, we knew that it would be a work in progress. We launched it in the summertime so that we could work out the details to be ready to head full force into the fall season when our chances for reaching new people goes up dramatically. Thanks for your patience as we continue to pursue God’s plans and dreams for our church family!

We just wrapped up another awesome night of VBS here at Amelia, and everyone's busy preparing for tomorrow night's closing program.

Make sure you're here to see the end of a great week!

On Thursday, VBS will start at it's normal time (6:00pm), but a short closing program will start at 8:00pm. The kids will be singing all the songs they learned, there will be a video with highlights of the week, and much more!

We will still be done at the normal time (8:30pm), but afterwards there will be free ice cream for everyone!

The band is rocking, the dramas are amazing, and it's a total blast!
