Are you looking for a way to serve at the Amelia Church of Christ? Start thinking small -- very small. Consider helping out in the nursery in 2009. Volunteers are needed for the 11:00 service. If you are interested, contact Children's Minister Melanie Presta.

 This service is a relaxed, intimate time of worship and reflection. We will complete our Vintage Christmas series on Christmas Eve. The beautiful music will take you right to the manger where Almighty God laid in the form of a helpless baby. We'll have a special story just for kids (and for those of us who are still children at heart). This brief time of worship will bring the peace and love of Christ into the center of your Christmas celebration. Grab your family and be at ACC on Christmas Eve.

We are having a Family Christmas Celebration for everyone to kick off the holiday season on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 5:00 pm. This will be a time for fellowship and worship. We will also have crafts, games and food. There will be a special service at the end of the celebration where you will be able to present an unwrapped baby gift to Baby Jesus. All gifts will be given to the Pregnancy Center. Please plan to join us for this special event. Contact Melanie Presta if you have questions.

Beginning in February, KidZone will be starting a new Girls' Ministry. This is for all girls grades 3-8. We will meet monthly at Melanie Presta's house and then also every month have a fun activity that we will do as a group. Be thinking of friends who you would like to invite. We are looking for mentors for this program. If you are interested or have questions, contact Melanie.

The Amelia Church of Christ Annual Christmas Dinner is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12 at Woodland Lakes Camp.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:30 and dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. The Cost is $15.00 per person.
Dinner will consist of roast beef eye of round, baked breast of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans/almandine, and caramelized apples, salads, rolls, beverages, and homemade pies & cakes.
After dinner, we will participate in a $10.00 gift exchange. Men should bring a gift to exchange with men, and ladies should bring a gift to exchange with ladies.
Please contact Jackie Jump if you have questions. Space is limited to 56 people so get your reservations in early!!! All reservations need to be in by Nov. 25.
