The teens and college-age students going on Jason Taggart's Small Group mission trip to help the needy in Appalachia this summer would like to thank all those who have made this trip possible. Your generous gifts are going to make a huge difference in many lives.

In response to the recent surge of new faces at ACC, we have added a
summer lineup of Small Groups that will run through June and July.
Register online now as these two Small Groups are already filling up
fast.
Ground Floor -- Tuesdays @ 6:30PMThis group, led by pastor Mike Edmisten, starts on the “ground floor”
of Christianity and explores the basics of our faith. The group will
discuss foundational truths about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church,
what it means to be a Christ-follower and much more. They’ll also
explore in depth the God-given vision for ACC. Got questions? Good.
Got doubts? Bring them. Nothing is off limits.
Beyond the Message -- Wednesdays @ 6:00PMThis group, led by elder Yance Pyle, will dive deeper into each week’s
sermon as we explore what happens Beyond the Message. They will meet
each week to discuss several questions that pertain to the previous
week’s message at ACC and how we can use what God’s Word says to
transform our lives so that we can grow closer to what God wants us to
be while growing along with each other.
Our fall semester of Small Groups will begin in September with sign-
ups starting later this summer. We will have a full complement of six
groups for you to choose from on various days and times.

If you intend to help out at Sports Camp June 19-24, please plan to hang around after church for our all-volunteer training. We'll be providing the lunch. We have a ton of important details to handle, including ordering T-shirts.

One of ACC's Small Groups is planning a summer missions trip to help the needy in Appalachia. Most of the folks heading there are young people, and they need your help raising the money it will cost for their expenses. Please be generous with your gifts and prayers to them so they can make this trip and be Jesus to someone in Appalachia. Thier funds are due to Missions Journeys by May 16.

ACC's Sports Camp 2011 is scheduled for June 19-24, 2011. Registration will run throughout the month of May and will only be available online at www.ameliasportscamp.com. Back for the third time, Sports Camp is by far our biggest outreach opportunity of the year. This week of awesome fun gives literally hundreds of kids a chance to be the center of attention of an army of passionate volunteers who love Jesus. Stop by the Connect Area after the service to learn more or get plugged in as a volunteer and partner with us for the most exciting event that happens at ACC all summer! You can help us show Jesus to these kids -- some for the first time! |
